Michael Lee is a member of Lee Law Firm, PLLC in Wilmington, NC and focuses on real estate development, land use and rezoning. Previously he was a Partner with Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP for a little over 7 years.
Mr. Lee was appointed to the NCDOT Board of Transportation in April of 2013 and is Vice Chair of the North Carolina Port Authority. Additionally, he is a member of the New Hanover County Board of Adjustment and the City of Wilmington Board of Adjustment. He was recognized in 2007 and 2009-2012 in ‘Business North Carolina’s” Legal Elite for Real Estate. Also in 2009-2012, he was selected by “Law & Politics Magazine” for inclusion in North Carolina Super Lawyers.
He graduated JD, cum laude, Law from Wake Forest University in 1997 after receiving a Bachelors in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
