Signals...without signals we wouldn't know when to cross the streets. People driving cars and trucks wouldn't know when to go or to stop. Just imagine!!!

    From their many talks and Sunday rides, Dot realized a lot of planning had to take place to make the roads and bridges ready for people to use. That made her even more excited about becoming a civil engineer. Dot knew she wanted to continue the important work her parents and others had started.

    "What can I do to become a civil engineer?"
