Terry Gibson directs the design, construction, maintenance, and operations of the nearly 80,000-mile state highway system in North Carolina. He has served as resident engineer, division construction engineer, state roadway construction engineer and Division 6 engineer. Gibson is a graduate of North Carolina State University with bachelor degrees in math education and civil engineering. He also is a licensed professional engineer and a native of Huntersville.
