Ernie Seneca - Communications Director

Ernie Seneca was named director of the NCDOT Public Information Office, which is now known as the Communications Office, in September 2005. He is a graduate of N.C. State University and has been working in the public information field for more than 20 years. A reporter for several newspapers in Eastern North Carolina, he also brings to the position 15 years of experience in state government having worked with the N.C. Department of Agriculture, N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Governor’s Office.
