What is the Art Contest?

The 2011 North Carolina Art Contest is a contest sponsored by the NCDOT Division of Aviation to engage young people in aviation and aeronautics in North Carolina.

This Year's Theme
This year's theme is "50 Years of Human Space Flight." Artwork is judged, at least in part, for its creative use of this year's theme in relation to the aviation world.
Grab your favorite paintbrush or markers, buckle up into a secure position in front of your desk, and blast off into your imagination, creating an image that celebrates 50 years of human flight.
