In an effort to reduce spending, G.S.136-71.13 was repealed in 2011. The repeal of this legislation eliminates the North Carolina Bicycle Committee. The duties and responsibilities of this committee have been transferred to the NCDOT Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation.
