| The purpose of the Division Design & Construct (DDC) Department is to develop roadway plans for various types of projects and to provide Design Services for Division 12. Projects may include Statewide TIP projects, Division administered Purchase Order Contracts, and projects constructed by State Forces. The projects are Let to Contract and are then administered by a District or Resident Engineer's office. This unit utilizes state-of-the-art surveying equipment including Survey Grade GPS, Electronic Total Station, and Data Collectors to produce base mapping for these projects. The Unit produces Final Project Plans, Right of Way Plans, and Contracts using CADD systems software including Microstation and Geopak. |
