Mission Statement:
The mission of the North Carolina Department of Transportation Pavement Management Unit is to optimize performance of the State's paved road system by providing adequate and economical designs for new pavements; accurate records of pavement history, service life, skid, profile, features and conditions of existing paved roadways; and rehabilitation designs and recommendations for pavements when additional treatment is required. Objectives:
