The Transporation Program Management Unit exists to develop and provide the Department with alternative
contracting methods for delivery of transportation projects. The Unit also investigates and implements
value-added processes and products. The Transportation Program Management Unit is comprised of Four Offices:
Design-Build, Programs Management, Priority Projects and Schedule Management.
The Design Build Office administers all Design Build projects to enhance project delivery.
The Programs Management Office is comprised of Local Programs Management Office creating and approving Agreements between DOT and Local entities and approve funding for locally administered federal projects, and Engineering Publications, implementing new and recycled products, managing
department manuals, and conducting special department-wide studies.
The Priority Projects Office exist to management and implement innovative ways to expedite project
delivery and enhance project quality.
The Schedule Management Office providing oversight and reporting of project schedules. Provide technical support with the Project STaRS reporting tool.
