Lincolnton Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study

This plan is a joint effort between the City of Lincolnton, Lincoln County, the Lake Norman RPO, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The Lincolnton Urban Area CTP study was started in 2010. This plan replaces the thoroughfare plan for Lincolnton which was mutually adopted in 1996 and some surrounding areas of the Lincoln County CTP which was mutually adopted in 2006.

The CTP was adopted by City of Lincolnton on January 10, 2013; Lincoln County on January 7, 2012; and endorsed by the LNRPO on February 26, 2013. The plan was adopted by the Board of Transportation on April 4, 2013.
