Yadkin County Comprehensive
Transportation Plan
The Yadkin County Comprehensive Transportation
Plan (CTP) is a joint effort between the County, the
Northwest Piedmont Rural Planning Organization, and
the NCDOT - Transportation Planning Branch (TPB)
.This plan shall be based on the best information
available including, but not limited to, population,
economic conditions, traffic trends and patterns of
land development in and around the County. This
plan shall provide for the safe, efficient,
cost-effective and environmentally sensitive use of
the transportation system while addressing current
and future travel needs.

Yadkin County on August 16, 2004 and by the NCDOT Board
of Transportation on February 3, 2005.
