Gaston
Urban Area MPO
Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study
The Gaston Urban Area Metropolitan Planning
Organization (GUAMPO) Comprehensive Transportation
Plan (CTP) is a joint effort between the Gaston
Urban Area MPO and the NCDOT – Transportation
Planning Branch. The Gaston Urban Area MPO adopted
the CTP on May 24, 2011. The North Carolina Board of
Transportation mutually adopted the Gaston Urban
Area MPO CTP on July 7, 2011
The GUAMPO CTP was recently
amended to include Rankin Lake Road, Tulip Drive,
and Bulb Avenue (Sheet 2A – Highway Map Inset A).
The Gaston Urban Area MPO adopted the CTP on March
26, 2013.
The CTP will be presented to
the NCDOT Board of Transportation for adoption on
May 2, 2013.
