Nash County
Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study
This CTP study is a
multimodal Long
Range Transportation Plan, which identifies major transportation
improvement needs and develops long term solutions
for the next 25 to 30 years. It is a joint
effort between Nash County,
municipalities within the county, the North
Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), and
the Upper Coastal Plain Rural Planning Organization
(UCPRPO). The study will emphasize integration
of transportation planning with all the patterns of
land development,
population growth, traffic trends, economic
conditions and prospects.
Independently the Highway map, Public Transportation
and Rail map, Bicycle and Pedestrian maps offer
insight into the future modal elements for an area.
Together, the maps form an all-inclusive look at the
transportation system of Nash County.
The Nash County Comprehensive Transportation Plan
Public Survey is available on line until March 31
