LIDAR Contours and Elevation Data

1993 - 1 Meter digital orthophotography SID images are available by county. Due to their large size, the images files are only available for download during non-business hours--between 5 pm and 8 am. After 5 pm, The text, "1993 Aerial Photography (SID format)," below becomes a link to the download page. If after 5 pm you are unable to download the images, contact the GIS the next business day at 919-707-2152 or gishelp@ncdot.gov for assistance.

Something Missing?

The GIS Unit has recently undergone some major changes to better serve our customers. The GIS Unit continues to be dedicated to providing quality geographic information. A new unit has formed, Information Mapping and Graphics Unit (IMG), which is now responsible for providing map publications and CAD products. Downloads such as the State Travel Map and Traffic Volume Maps can be found on the IMG website.
