The Board of Transportation adopted statewide standards and criteria for road additions and deletions to the highway system. The Data Conversion Group of the GIS unit creates Division Engineer Letters (DE Letters) which consist of a cover letter, road system changes page, and a color coded map illustrating the changes. This information shall be published and copies made available for free distribution.

The search engine below allows searching the DE Letters by division, county, month, year, and/or the product which generated the DE Letter. Information returned through the search contains county name, road number, street name, and document numbers for TIPs, Petitions, Municipal Agreements and route changes, in addition to the date it was approved by the Board of Transportation. By clicking the document number you will be linked to the Division Engineer's letter that contains additional details.
