Weather permitting, contract forces will be closing one lane of I-40 eastbound at the Davie/Forsyth County line (near mile marker 181). They will be performing work on the bridge carrying I-40 east over the Yadkin River in preparation for the upcoming weekend closures of I-40. The end time is approximate.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
