NIGHTTIME LANE AND RAMP CLOSURES ON I-77 AND I-277 IN CHARLOTTE

Weather permitting, the North Carolina Department of Transportation will have temporary nighttime lane and ramp closures on I-77 and I-277 in Charlotte this week for bridge preservation work.  The closures will occur nightly from Tuesday, June 18^th until Monday June 24^th from 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM.  On Tuesday, June 18^th, two lanes of I-277 Outer Loop, the ramp from I-277 to I-77 Northbound, and the I-77 Southbound ramp to I-277 Outer Loop will be closed beginning at 8:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19^th.  The same closures will be in place on the nights of Wednesday, June 19^th, Thursday, June 20^th, and Sunday, June 23^rd.  Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in the area and should follow the signed detours that will direct motorists around the ramp closures.
