What is a Project Summary?

A Project Summary is an overview of related smaller projects called "segments." These segments are typically denoted with a letter (A, B, C, .. or AA, BB, ...) after the project number.

Reason for Reprioritization

NCDOT is building upon the successful efforts of the first prioritization process to refine and enhance the way transportation projects are scored and ranked.

In the Fall of 2011, NCDOT will reconsider projects that are currently scheduled for 2018-2020, as part of its next prioritization process. These projects will be re-evaluated along with new candidate projects. The outcome will determine which projects are scheduled to move forward in 2018-2023.
