Description

New location roadway from I-40 at NC 147 in Durham County south to NC 540 in Wake County.

Length

Approximately 3.4 miles

Estimated Cost

Preliminary cost is estimated at $183.8 million. Final costs will be determined during design.

Free alternate route

Existing I-40 through Wake and Durham counties, NC 54 to the east, or NC 55 to the west.
