Scott Aman is president and owner of New Dixie Oil Corp., which was established in 1962 and is headquartered in Roanoke Rapids.
Aman is on the board of the N.C. Petroleum and Convenience Marketers and served as its president in 2014. He is also president of the Roanoke Rapids Schools Educational Foundation and is a past president of the Roanoke Rapids Jaycees.
In addition, Aman is a member of Halifax Horizons, which supports economic development in Halifax County, and a deacon at Rosemary Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids. He and his business family also support many community service organizations.
A native of Roanoke Rapids, Aman holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from East Carolina University.
His term on the N.C. Turnpike Authority Board of Directors runs from 2020 to 2024.
