Tracy Finch Dodson joined the N.C. Board of Transportation in March 2015.
Dodson has spent more than 20 years in Charlotte and has extensive experience in diverse aspects of real estate development. She is a senior vice president at Lincoln Harris, where she spends most of her time in large scale mixed-use developments in North and South Carolina.
Prior to joining Lincoln Harris, Dodson worked with Cushman & Wakefield, Charlotte Center City Partners and Harris Development Group focusing on real estate development, economic development and brokerage. She has also worked for the City of Charlotte as a program manager/transit development coordinator.
Dodson earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She later attended Harvard University, where she earned a Masters of Design Studies in Real Estate and Urban Development.
Her academic, professional and civic experience allows her to approach real estate development with an understanding of quality design, financial feasibility and regionalism.
