RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the shoulder of I-40 East between Exit 180 (N.C. 801) in Davie County and Exit 182 (Harper Road) in Forsyth County on Monday, Nov. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 22. Crews will cut back tree limbs and remove growth from along the roadside to improve safety.
Weather permitting, the work will start each day at 8 p.m. and end the following morning at 6 a.m.
NCDOT strongly encourages motorists to slow down as they drive through the work zone and pay attention to posted signs.
