RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close lanes on Front Street between U.S. 70 (Church Street) and Rockwood Avenue in Alamance County each day from 9 a.m. until sunset, Monday through Saturday, until Oct. 28, weather permitting. The closures are necessary for pavement resurfacing. One lane of travel in each direction will remain open at all times.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit. Motorists may experience congestion while traveling through the work zone and are encouraged to plan their commute accordingly.
