CHARLOTTE -The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin improvements on Olive Branch Road from Austin Chaney Road to Mills Harris Road in Marshville on Tuesday, May 8, weather permitting.
Contractor Boggs Paving Inc. will widen and resurface the project area, reconstruct existing shoulders, and add painted and raised pavement markers to the final road surface.
Lane closures are permitted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend lane closures are not expected unless inclement weather prevents the contractor from working during the week.
The project is scheduled to be completed August 3.
