NCDOT to Begin Paving Bryan Boulevard in Greensboro Next Week

RALEIGH - Weather permitting, N.C. Department of Transportation crews will begin laying the final layer of asphalt Monday on a 3.9-mile section of Bryan Boulevard in Greensboro as part of a $3.3 million resurfacing project that began on March 12 and is scheduled to be complete by July 27.Crews will close the left lane of westbound Bryan Boulevard from Benjamin Parkway/Cone Boulevard to the Fleming Road overpass beginning Monday, April 23.  Once paving is complete in the westbound direction, crews will close the left lane of eastbound Bryan Boulevard. The lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, and are expect to continue through Sunday, April 30.  NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit. The department also urges motorists to "know before you go" about traffic conditions on Bryan Boulevard.
