NCDOT to Install Turn Lane, Resurface Vickery Chapel Road in Jamestown

RALEIGH - Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will begin constructing a turn lane on Vickery Chapel Road at Harvey Road in Guilford County on Monday, July 29. Once the turn lane has been installed, crews will resurface Vickery Chapel Road from Mills Road to High Point Road.Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures and flagging operations between 9 a.m. and sunset each day. The work is expected to be completed by Saturday, Aug. 24.NCDOT reminds motorists traveling in the work zone to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
