NCDOT to Repair Concrete on I-40 East at U.S. 52 in Winston-Salem

RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Transportation will make concrete repairs on I-40 East near U.S. 52 in Winston Salem, beginning Monday, June 3, weather permitting. The concrete repairs will require the closure of two lanes on I-40 East at U.S. 52, as well as the on-ramp to I-40 East from southbound U.S. 52. The closures will be in place from 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 3, until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.During the closures, motorists should use the following signed detour route to access I-40 East from U.S. 52 South:
  • Follow U.S. 52 South to Clemmonsville Road (Exit 105) to U.S. 52 North to I-40 East.
