NCDOT to Temporarily Close Bringle Ferry Road in Rowan County

RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Bringle Ferry Road in eastern Rowan County next week as work continues on a project to realign a curve in the road.Bringle Ferry Road will be closed on either side of the intersection with Surratt Road, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, weather permitting. The road will remain closed for the duration of the work, which is expected to be complete by Sunday, Sept. 29.In addition, motorists on Surratt Road will be unable to access the intersection with Bringle Ferry Road during this time.Motorists should use the following signed detour route during the closure:
  • Bringle Ferry Road to Wyatt Grove Church Road to Stokes Ferry Road to Ribelin Road to Panther Creek Road back to Bringle Ferry Road.
