CHARLOTTE -The N.C. Department of Transportation will run a rolling road block on the I-485 Inner Loop between Nations Ford Road and I-77 (exit 67) in Charlotte beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 13, weather permitting. The work is part of the $83.3 million I-485 widening project to add one lane in each direction between I-77 and Rea Road.
The rolling road block will allow crews to safely relocate drilling equipment, and should take about 30 minutes to complete.
Contractor Lane Construction has proposed completing the project in December 2014.
