Detour will be posted for motorists
CHARLOTTE -The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close Bethel School Road between N.C. 24/27 and U.S. 601 in Midland at 9 a.m. Monday, June 10, weather permitting.
NCDOT maintenance crews will be making drainage improvements half a mile west of U.S. 601 through Friday, June 28. A signed detour will take motorists from Bethel School Road to N.C. 24/27 to U.S. 601 back to Bethel School Road.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
