CHARLOTTE -The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the right lane on I-85 North near Bruton Smith Boulevard (Exit 49) in Concord from 9 p.m. Friday, August 16, until 6 a.m. Saturday, August 17, weather permitting.
During the closure, crews will be moving and resetting barrier walls as part of the $92.2 million project to convert the existing I-85/I-485 interchange to a turbine interchange, the first of its kind in North Carolina.
