will close several ramps at the U.S. 220 interchanges with Business 85 and I-85/I-73 in Greensboro as work progress on the U.S. 220 resurfacing project. A map of the interchanges can be found here
.On Sunday night, crews will close the U.S. 220 South off-ramp to Business 85 South, as well as the Business 85 off-ramps to U.S. 220 South. Once paving operations are complete at that location, crews will close the U.S. 220 South off-ramps to I-85/I-73. All ramps will reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday.On Monday night, crews will close the U.S. 220 South on-ramps from I-85/I-73. The ramp will reopen by 6 a.m. on Tuesday.Signs throughout the area will direct motorists around the ramp closures. NCDOT reminds motorists to stay alert, obey the posted speed limit and allow additional time to reach their destinations. The work is part of project to resurface nine miles of U.S. 220 in Greensboro, from just north of the bridge over I-85 Business in Guilford County to the Randolph County line.
