MANNS HARBOR -
The N.C. Department of Transportation's Ferry Division has temporarily suspended
normal operations on several ferry routes this morning.
- The Bayview-Aurora route is
suspended due to mechanical issues. Crews are working to resume
operations as soon as possible and expect to be able to depart for the
regularly scheduled 10:30 a.m. run.
- The Hatteras-Ocracoke route is currently shuttling
until conditions allow full operations to resume.
Crews hope to resume the normal departure
schedule at 9 a.m.
- The
Cherry Branch-Minnesott Beach route is currently
suspended due to fog. Operations will return to normal as soon as conditions are deemed safe.
All ferry operations will return to normal as soon as conditions are deemed safe.
