Motorists must follow signed
detour route
RALEIGH
The N.C. Department of
Transportation will close the ramp from U.S. 52 North to U.S. 421
South/Business 40 East for concrete repairs, starting Sunday, March 24, at 9
p.m. The ramp will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, March 25.
While the closure is in effect, motorists must take the following
detour route:
Follow U.S. 52 North and take Exit 109B to U.S. 421 North/Business
40 West. Exit immediately onto Exit 6A to U.S. 52 South. Exit immediately onto
Exit 109A to return to U.S. 421 South/Business 40 East.
NCDOT encourages motorists to go slow, pay attention to
construction-related signs and allow plenty of time to reach their destinations
safely.
