Currituck Ferry Route Suspends Service Saturday For USCG Inspection

(CURRITUCK) - The North Carolina Department of Transportation's Ferry Division will be suspending service on the Currituck-Knotts Island route after 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 in order to allow the U.S. Coast Guard to perform its annual inspection on the M/V Hunt.

The ferry will make its scheduled 6 a.m. departure from Currituck and its 7 a.m. departure from Knotts Island before ceasing operations for the day in order for the inspection to begin. Regularly scheduled service will resume on Sunday, November 16.
