Franklin License Plate Agency Closing To Enhance Customer Service

Local office to close for two-day training sessions

RALEIGH - The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles will close its Franklin license plate agency on Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16 to conduct customer service training for all employees.

NCDMV is currently holding statewide customer service training courses for all office locations. The Franklin agency will reopen on Thursday, July 17 at 9 a.m.

Agencies located in the immediate area will remain open to provide vehicle registration services. The following locations will be open during the training:

Bryson City -101 Mitchell Street, (828) 488-8247

Hayesville -1440 Highway 64 West, (828) 389-8133

Robbinsville -74 South Main Street, (828) 479-4986

Sylva -454 East Main Street, Suite #3, (828) 586-3886

LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, about 120 license plate agencies operate across North Carolina.
