CHARLOTTE -The N.C. Department of Transportation will be working on I-85 and I-277 in Charlotte starting at 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, weather permitting. Each lane closure is necessary for crews to safely perform routine maintenance and should take a couple of hours.
Crews will start at 9 p.m. on I-85 South at Graham Street (Exit 40), closing the two right lanes. Once work at this location wraps up, crews will close the right lane on the I-277 Outer Loop near Church Street (Exit 3) for maintenance work. All traffic control will be removed by 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26.
