NCDOT Crews Battle Historic Winter Storm as it Inundates North Carolina

RALEIGH-In many parts of the state, NCDOT crews are in full operation battling the snow and ice as one of the worst winter storms in the state's history drops significant amounts of precipitation from the mountains to the coast.

In the following video, NCDOT Chief Engineer Mike Holder explains what kind of winter weather NCDOT expects to see over the next few days, how maintenance crews will respond, and important safety tips all motorists should follow during the storm.
