maintenance crews from Halifax and Nash counties in NCDOT's Division Four are traveling east today to Pasquotank County in NCDOT's neighboring Division One to assist with cleanup efforts following severe storms and tornadoes that affected the area over the weekend.Crews will begin work tomorrow, Thursday, May 1, with local NCDOT Pasquotank County Maintenance crews, as well as maintenance crews from Williamston and Ahoskie, to continue picking up vegetative debris along state-maintained roads in the county. As of Wednesday afternoon, approximately 30 percent of vegetative debris had been picked up in Pasquotank County.
