RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Transportation will
temporarily close New Hill Olive Chapel Rd. between 0.7 miles west of Old U.S.
1 and 0.8 miles east of Humie Olive Road in Wake County on Monday, May 5, weather
permitting. The three-week closure is needed to replace the pipe carrying
Little Beaver Creek under New Hill Olive Chapel Rd.
Motorists
traveling west on New Hill Olive Chapel Road will use the following signed
detour:
- Old U.S. 1 to Humie Olive Road for approximately 2.4 miles to the
junction with New Hill Olive Chapel Road.
Motorists
traveling east on New Hill Olive Chapel Road will use the following signed
detour:
- Turn left onto Humie Olive Road and go approximately 2.4 miles to
the junction with Old U.S. 1.
