crews will begin a road widening project that will increase safety by increasing roadway capacity in a narrow section of N.C. 68 between E. Harrell Road and Bartonshire Drive starting Monday June 30, weather permitting.The new road design will relocate E. Harrell Road to the south and permanently close the intersection of N.C. 68 and W. Harrell Road just north of N.C. 150 in Oak Ridge.The initial impact to traffic should be minimal.
