- Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation
will install ground-mounted signs along I-40/I-85 in Guilford County next week.To accommodate the sign installation, one lane of I-85 North between Exit 129 (Youngs Mill Road) and Exit 132 (Mt. Hope Church Road) will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12. From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, crews will close one lane of I-40 East/I-85 North from Exit 226 (McConnell Road) to Exit 132 (Mt. Hope Church Road). During this time, crews will also close one lane of I-40 East/I-85 North between Exit 21 (I-40 West/I-85 South) on I-840 East and Exit 132 (Mt.
