NCDOT to Hold Public Meeting on Proposed Changes to the N.C. Administrative Code Regarding Contract Awards

RALEIGH-The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 20, to receive input regarding proposed changes to the North Carolina Administrative Code.

The proposed changes will revise the requirements for solicitation and award of contracts, and codify the process of prequalifying professional services firms to be consistent with legislative changes and internal policies. More information about the proposed changes is available here.

The meeting, which is a formal public hearing, will be held from 6:30 p.m. -8 p.m. at the Chavis Park Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in Raleigh. An opportunity for oral comments will be provided after a formal presentation.

Written comments may be submitted online to Contact Us, by fax at 919-733-9150, or by mail to APA Coordinator, 1501 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1501. Oral comments may be submitted by calling 919-707-2800 and asking for the APA Coordinator.

Comments on the proposed amendments will be accepted through June 30.
