RALEIGH-The N.C.
Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 20, to
receive input regarding a proposed change to the rules and regulations
governing its Logo Sign program.
The proposed change will allow more attraction-based
facilities, particularly in rural areas, to participate in the department's
Logo program. More information about the proposed changes is available here.
The meeting, which is a formal public hearing, will be held from
5 p.m. -6:30 p.m. at the Chavis Park Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King
Jr. Blvd., in Raleigh. An opportunity for oral comments will be provided after
a formal presentation.
