RALEIGH - The
N.C. Department of Transportation will
close one lane of Interstate 95 South at mile marker 145 in Nash County beginning
Thursday, July 10 to repair a damaged girder on the flyover ramp at the Gold
Rock exit. The right lane will be closed daily from 5 a.m. -5 p.m. for about a
week.
The work may require
closure of the left lane during part of the repairs, but only one lane will be closed
at a time.
Motorists should
expect delays, particularly over the weekend, and may want to take an alternate
route if possible.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction
information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
