One Lane on I-95 South to be Closed in Nash County for Bridge Work Beginning July 10

RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane of Interstate 95 South at mile marker 145 in Nash County beginning Thursday, July 10 to repair a damaged girder on the flyover ramp at the Gold Rock exit. The right lane will be closed daily from 5 a.m. -5 p.m. for about a week.

The work may require closure of the left lane during part of the repairs, but only one lane will be closed at a time.

Motorists should expect delays, particularly over the weekend, and may want to take an alternate route if possible.
