RALEIGH - Beginning Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 a.m., N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a section of Old Farrington Road and Flint Ridge Road for pipe work.
A section of Old Farrington Road between Farrington Road and Whippoormill Road will be closed as crews perform maintenance to the pipe under the roadway. A signed detour will be in placing directing motorists around the closure.
In addition, NCDOT crews will close a section of Flint Ridge Road between the two intersections with Martin Road for a pipe replacement project. A signed detour will be in placing directing motorists around the closure.
NCDOT maintenance crews will reopen both roads by 5p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, weather permitting.
