Section of Back Creek Church Road in Mecklenburg County to Temporarily Close Friday Morning

CHARLOTTE -Weather permitting, crews will temporarily close Back Creek Church Road east of Hanberry Boulevard in Charlotte at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 25. The closure should last approximately one hour.

The closure will allow a contractor to perform maintenance work on an electrical transmission line for Duke Energy near the bridge crossing Back Creek. There will not be a posted detour due to the short duration of the closure. Portable message signs will be placed on both approaches to the site to alert motorists.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
