Raleigh - Motorists traveling in the High Country through the U.S.
321 widening project in Blowing Rock will be getting a holiday gift of sorts as
crews will be taking a break over Christmas. That means no lane closures from
Thursday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Dec. 27. Work will resume at 8 a.m. Monday,
weather permitting.
Although no work will be taking place, it is still
considered a work zone in the area so drivers need to remain alert and obey the
speed limit of 35 mph.
For more information about the project, please
call its information line at (828) 964-3260 on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. -
5 p.m. The line will be closed during the holiday break.
