Winston-Salem - The N.C. Department of Transportation is offering a session for contractors interesting in gaining valuable knowledge about how their business can qualify as a certified vendor with NCDOT.
This class is being offered as the construction season for the Business 40 Improvement Project approaches.
The speaker, Benny F. Sloan, Jr., the State Contractor Utilization Engineer, will explain:
- The different qualification-certification programs;
- Application requirements;
- How to apply; and
- The next steps once certified.
Becoming a certified business may increase your subcontracting opportunities for NCDOT locally and around the state.
The “Becoming A Certified Business” Session will take place Tuesday, November 10, at the Small Business Center @ Innovation Quarter, 525 Vine Street in Winston-Salem.
