Customers encouraged to call before they visit
Raleigh - The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced this morning that many NCDMV offices have been affected by a network outage in the Central and Western areas of the state.
Customers are encouraged to call either their local Driver License Offices or License Plate Agencies before they visit to conduct driver licensing or vehicle registration business.
Initial reports include the following affected agencies and offices:
License Plate Agencies: High Point, Lexington, Concord, Albemarle, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Wadesboro, Rural Hall and Thomasville
Driver License Offices Concord, Wadesboro, Lexington, Polkton, Salisbury, High Point, Albemarle and Mooresville
NCDMV will update the status of these offices when more information is available.
